Willie Arnold is an Administrator of Clinic Operations at Emory Healthcare. He joined Emory in 2001 as an Enterprise Solutions Architect supporting various enterprise IT solutions. Today, Willie manages a $200M physician practice that spans 4 hospitals and a multitude of outpatient clinics throughout Georgia.
Willie received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and went on to obtain a Master’s in Business Administration from Shorter University.
As Administrator in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, Willie is responsible for planning, overseeing and directing day-to-day operations of Radiology’s physician practice. He oversees physician productivity and ensures the practice is operating efficiently and reaching its financial goals. He also bridges the link between the technical staff and physicians to ensure the highest quality of radiology services for patients, referring physicians, and Emory faculty.
In addition to Practice Management, Willie is heavily involved in Radiology’s Division of Imaging Informatics. He is the administrative champion that directs and oversees IT operations within the department of Radiology. In this role, he negotiates IT contracts, facilitates the implementation of new technologies, and manages a team of IT professionals.
Willie is involved with the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine and the National Association of Health Services Executives.
